Powered by an ARM Cortex-A7 800MHz processor with 128MB flash memory and 128MB DDR3 SDRAM, the PD45S delivers efficient and reliable printing. It features a high-quality industrial printhead that supports both direct thermal and thermal transfer printing modes, giving users flexibility in handling various labeling tasks.

Honeywell’s patented dual sensor positioning technology ensures exceptional accuracy, enabling a minimum label height of 5mm and a vertical positioning accuracy of 0.5mm for the PD45S and 0.75mm for the PD45. To ensure consistent media feeding, the printer includes two adjustable pressure bars and double media guides that help prevent ribbon wrinkles and print defects.

The PD45S enhances user interaction with a 3.5-inch full-color touch LCD and an additional 2.36-inch keypad LCD, while the PD45 includes a 2.36-inch keypad LCD and LED Feed button for intuitive operation. Maintenance is quick and simple, with tool-free access to the printhead and front sensor, allowing easy cleaning and replacement of key components.

Both models support major printer command languages including FP, DP, IPL, ZPL, and DPL, enabling seamless integration into existing systems. Installation is fast, with one-key driver setup and simple Windows configuration. Connectivity is flexible, offering USB, Ethernet, and serial ports as standard, along with optional support for wireless networking, parallel interface, GPIO, and labeling machine interface cards.

For added functionality, the PD45S also supports peeling, cutting, and rewinding assemblies, making it adaptable to a wide range of industrial labeling scenarios.
